Two Premier Building Automation and Master Systems Integrators join forces creating one powerhouse company.
HUNT VALLEY, MD (December 19, 2023) – Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity BSG) proudly announces the strategic merger of Smart Building Technologies (SmartBT) and HVAC Concepts into one single company. This combination of two premier building automation and systems integration firms furthers Fidelity BSG’s ability to support facility engineers, managers, and owners with efficiency in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. markets.
With a longstanding partnership serving the same geographic market and offering the same Distech and Honeywell-Tridium product offerings, the consolidation of SmartBT and HVAC Concepts emerges as a natural evolution. The merger creates operational efficiencies and increases responsiveness. The combined entity will retain the Smart Building Technologies name and occupy the former HVAC Concepts headquarters. Mike Schmitz serves as the President of the new company and will lead this dedicated and talented team.
